I’m an animated and fun creative who owns my ADHD and loves listening to and singing along with music — depending on the day, you can hear me singing along with anything from ‘60s doo-wop to 90s alternative to Broadway soundtracks to whatever I’m learning to sing for my local choir.

Although I’m currently in the podcast business, I didn’t start out podcasting. My initial career was in journalism where I worked for more than 20 years working as a print editor for newspapers, magazines, and even puzzle books.

I’m the host and creator of the Webby-Nominated podcast The Story Behind” and author of the best-selling book based on it and narrator of the audiobook. In The Story Behind Podcast, I tell the tales of how everyday items came to life (were invented) in history. If you’re into books like I am, check out The Story Behind book in addition to listening to my podcast as I’ve added more backstories to everyday items you use in addition to my podcast stories.

I love podcasting so much that I decided to become a Podcast Editor + Podcast Consultant in 2017, providing my knowledge, expertise, and podcasting skills to creative clients who are looking to build their brand by telling their story or being seen as an expert in their field utilizing podcasting.

As the co-host of the "Hate to Weight” podcast, I teamed up with my podcast partner where I was able to lose more than 100 pounds while documenting my journey with a supportive and amazing community along the way!

In addition to running E Podcast Productions, I’m also a busy mom of two kids under 13, wife, and introvert — find out more over on my personal blog, “Emily: Out Loud” which will one day be another podcast in my production line.

I’m currently hosting and producing “That’s Hysterical! Now, Get Out! | My Adenomyosis, Hysterectomy & Recovery Journey” podcast as a kind of part-passion project/part-healing journey for me, and have been so fortunate to connect with other Adenomyosis and Endometriosis Warriors though it.

Connect with me on Instagram where I’m showing off my latest roller skating skills, hanging out in nature, talking about ADHD, my favorite music, or my latest hyperfixation.

Emily is easy to work with, very knowledgeable and understands podcasting.

I’m very happy with her re-edit of an intro I received from an artist which had quite a few audio faux-pas. Emily took the time to take apart the original audio and enhance my intro to a professional sounding intro, which creates a great start to my podcast episodes!
